I have this error after trying to log in to a terminal that didn't on for about a year....

I double check connection and everything is ok.

Understand that there might be some setting problem from google.

But the question is how can I change computer name, dns or ip if I can't even log in?

The administrator log in didn't work either (tested on other machine confirm the log in details are correct)

Please advice.

Thanks.

you need to login to the local machine to change info in this situation.

click the down arrow for the domain and click the computer name.

I would prolly drop the machine from the domain and then re-join the domain.

change it from a domain login to a workgroup.

You can find this in system properties, computer name.

Then change it back.

Thanks for all reply.
Anything else should I take note of that is causing this error?

You could try resetting the computer in AD, using PE CD to boot into the server and change the name, IP, local admin password, etc.

Sorry why boot into server and change?

Can I change name and IP from PE CD?

May I know how to do it?
