Sync software

I am looking for a really good (free or paid) syncing software that will sync folders I specify on my primary HDD to the external HDD,

I have used SyncToy but it doesn't delete, I want every change to sync, add new files or delete.

IF you are using Windows 7 at all best of luck to you. As most of this type of software has been reported as not working.

Are you sure it doesn't delete? I use SyncToy at work and I rename and reorganize stuff all of the time and I never noticed any old files laying around...

Most likely he is seeing a conflict with it working in Windows 7 correctly. Which would not surprise me if it didnt.

No, I am still using Vista x86 and the problem with SynToy is if I make a change in a folder it will not do that change on the external HDD and most of it has to do with deleting files or changing files (this is important) like word and excel
