Switching from on network to off?

I bought a pc that was on a network, and i can't sign on as an administrator, and i was wondering if there was any way to boot windows so it bypasses the network log-on, like in the BIOS. or is there anyway to sign on, yet not have restrictions. its a Win XP

no, i just don't have administrative rights. and i would realy like to use the full shabang of this computer
