Default svhost.exe

Hi all. I don't know if this the correct section for the post but since svhost.exe is part of the windows operating systems process, I guess I am right about posting here. Basically I have heard people saying that having too many svhost running in the background is concerning and my computer have about 6 or so. So how many svhost.exe running in the background is considered safe or normal? And how do I remove them or have it optimise to the correct amount of svhost?

Default Re: svhost.exe

Not to worry. I have 6 svchost.exe's running right now, myself, and I scan nightly with Nod32 and Spybot, and about once a week with Ad-Aware. None of those have picked anything up, As long as they're in the system32 folder (I think that's what it is), then I believe you're fine.
