SVCD...making me confuzzled

ya, the link in the 2nd post explains more. basically- normal vcd is mpeg1 and svcd is mpeg2. svcd has higher res (much better quality) and allows more controls/options than making a vcd.

if you have a newer dvd player, they all (even the cheapo's) should play all formats now. vcd, svcd, mp3..etc.
