I've used Nero 6 Ultra for at least a couple of years with absolutely no problems.
Today I tried to copy a CD....I always put my original in one drive and the blank in another...create a disc image and then burn to the blank. About 5 times now the image creation gets to 99% and the write speed (usually in the 3000-4000 kbps range) drops to about 25kbps and hangs forever at 99%. Well, I guess if I left it it could finish, but I've given it about 15 or 20 minutes a couple of times...
I've switched source/burn drives and even tried to use the same drive for source/burn with the same results. Just now I tried an "on the fly" copy and it's now been stuck at 97% for a good 12 minutes. It never errors out and the lights on the burner(s) stay on like there is constant actvity.
Anything that would cause this? I would guess it's a software problem since it's doing the same thing on both drives
