it seems that the clock in windows speeds up about 1 minute every 12 hours or so, which is getting very annoying. i've heard that if thats happening, then it might be the little round battery thats in your mobo, but my mobo is only like 4 months old. i'm using that Atomic Clock program to set it straight, but that is getting annoying. does anyboyd have any suggestions?

u could keep the system off for awhile, say over an extended weekend then power it on. before it boots (MAKE SURE IT DOENS"T BOOT!!!), go into the bios and check the clock and see if its off still. If it is, then its the battery most likely as it wasn't keeping up.

I think it's the Atomic Clock program...
first you should try if it stops by disabling atomic clock...then try what killians45 said to see if it's something more serious

I thought he put it on to try and fix it. If thats not the case then, yeah get rid of atomic clock, its a annoying thing.
