Angry Stupid CD not working

Yesterday I got the new issue from PC World and it came with a CD. When I tried loading it, my system would freeze, and it doesnt show up in the task manager. CD is not scratched or bent, and i've tried restarting but same thing happens. WTH is going on? Please help me. Thank you.

Probably not the solution you were looking for but the same utilities and free "goodies" on that disk are avilable through www.pcworld.com
I subscribe also.

I would say if you tried the cd in another computer and it doesnt worked also you most likely have a bad cd like you thought

yup, regardless of whether or not it is damaged it still could not have been made right - corrupt data is most likely the case

Well you know what they say. You get what you pay for. Free cd demos I think are basicly junk anyways.
