Exclamation stuck at ATAPICD.sys Loading...

hi guys

I'm trying to load my tools from Hiren's Boot CD...

everytime i pick a tool it loads the data, but gets stuck at ATAPICD.SYS Loading....

Perhap's it's got something to do with my CD Rom being an accessory to my laptop, and connected via PCMCIA interface..

However, I was able to install XP from it.. so i dunno what gives..

any ideas on how to get around this issue?
