Stop Code 0x000000F4

Got a stop code for you, getting the BSoD usually when my pc has been waiting for about 20 mins.

0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x82D2B150, 0x82D2B2C4, 0x805C773E)

I'm thinking memory, could possibly be hard drive related, too. I'd run Memtest and then a scandisk/defrag session if possible.

I found some info that may help:
stop 0x000000f4 bsod
Stop 0x000000F4 after boot

Those should give you some more suggestions on what you might want to try.

Have you installed any new hardware recently. Frow what I see its a hardware or memory error. run memtest on you memory. take out any new hardware. If that does not fix it start stripping hardware out one piece at a time to determine what the culprit is.

are you overclocking?, if you have to sticks of RAM or more boot up with each one seperately and see if the error continues, this helps you locate a fualty dimm

yeah those are address locations in hexadecimal. Its either memory (more likely) or some new form of hardware you have.


0x000000f4 is block 244 which is an early location in your ram, I would guess DIMM #1.
