Stay maximised, dang you!

Why is it that everytime I maximise a window, then close it, the next time I open it - it is not maximised and only takes up half a screen. Dang it! When I tell my laptop to do something I want it done. Grrr, is there a way to fix this?

Try this. Open My computer, tools, folder options click the view tab. Down the bottom their are 2 tick boxes that say 'remember each folders view settings', restore previous folders apon reboot..'

its not a big deal, its not hard to maximize each time...

I have the same problem with 'Windows 98'.

I sympathise, my condolences.

It is annoying by the way!
