Static IP on a Dial-up Win ME machine!!

Can someone please tell me how I can setup a static ip for my dialup internet account on a WinME system. I already have the ip address but it's not the same as setting one up for a LAN so i'm lost. Anything you guys can tell me will be most helpful.

I believe most dial-up systems use DHCP. This way, they can give out any IP Address they want.
