I have an Emachines T2825, and it has a very ugly startup screen that shows a big white "e" and I want to change it or delete it. What file would I need to edit to change that screen?
If ur talking pre post, Its not really advisable. It may be in the bios and you could try flashing it, but sometimes its ingrained elsewhere. So, if its the very first thing that pops up, I would leave it be.
Sometimes there is an option in the bios to disable the splash screen and it will show you some text lines or something instead which they are hiding with there E logo. Chances are with an emachine being prebuilt they wont give you that option, but its worth a look.
