Default Startup Disk For Windows XP?

Would anyone out there know all of the files I would need on a disk or CD to be able to read the NTFS-disk that i converted my HD to? I know you need the cmd.exe interpreter... but what else?

Or can I also go into the NT Backup Program and make a disk that way???

Any Help would be apppreciated.

currently looking at a litescribe drive at staples, due to its ability to label the CD shortly after being burned.

YOu can use the cd an go into the recovery console if you need to. But I guess we need to know what you are trying to accomplish in order to give you the correct answer. Do you need boot disks to install or what.

Or are you trying to read files when booting from a floppy.

Or is this what you want;en-us;q310994

Personally I like to use the Universal Boot Disk to perform maintenance on my NTFS partitions. Apparently it now supports Linux ext2/ext3 partitions as well, although I haven't tried that feature myself.
