When i start up my laptop it's really slow (recently) and i don't really know why and i was wondering if anyone had tips to speed it up

MSConfig is where you can manage you startup applications and disable the unwanted and un-needed startup applications.

To acess it Start>Run>MSConfig. The startup tab is where you unchack the application you do not want to load with the boot of the PC. Hope that can help speed up your boot. I would suggest that you only have your AV (ANti-Virus) and firewall boot unless there are other things that you just have to have start up.

You could also clean out the junk, all the temporary files, recycle bin files etc and then run chkdsk and defragment your drive, this will also help improve ur boot.
People jve varied opinions on deleting the prefetch u cud consider that as well.
