I have done that before and it says that it finds no problems, but I will try it again.

I have XP pro and I have not changed anything major about it. Setting should still be the same but I guess not.

did you try the fixntldr.exe cd iso?

I posted a link linking you to the iso a few post back. burn it to cd as a disc image with alcohol or nero. then stick it in the cd. and boot from it. it should fix your boot path problem. the website had instruction about it
