I am looking to start a program when my PC starts up. I am looking for the path to where I would put it in windows 7. Could someone help me out on what the path would be. I appreciate your help.

thanks

It is the same place it was in Vista and XP. Click Start and look for the Startup folder. Place the executable file in there.

Mak, When I right click on Start, select open windows explorer, I see docs, music library,
pics library and videos library. Can you please be a little more specific as I am use to XP and classic look.

thanks

EDIT: nevermind.

Why are you trying to open All Programs? Why not just drag and drop the icon to the Start Menu>Startup folder?

Are you in Win7 or Vista?

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

There is the exact location. But i dont see why you are doing it the hard way instead of just dragging and dropping the file in the folder on the start menu...
