Y yerbol Solid State Member Messages 6 Feb 7, 2006 #2 You see there are some processes that can not be avoided during startup. So Windows would automatically enable them during startup. Just try to identify wich processes are necessary for your system starup and eliminate redundant. Good Luck.

Normal startup : load all device drivers and services Diagnostic startup : load basic devices and services only Selective startup : load your own Use selective and disable everything except your antivirus or firewall and reboot
