Standby issues....

My computer DOES have a standby feature that DOES work. Only problem is after at 10 seconds in standby it just turns back on.

well that doesnt sound like it works very well lol just kidding man. um ok have you made sure that nothing is moved , 10 sec. sounds like a cat walking by and hitting your cord. the really only way a computer comes back on from stand is if its "disturbed" in some way, mouse moves a key is hit. how long do you have it set for befor eit goes into stand by and what are your other power settings set for.

actually, it was a problem with my network drivers. it took me a few days to find this, but the drivers were messed up and it kept doing wake on LAN
