So I have a 60GB SSD for Windows 7, drivers, and any other small utilities. When it's all said and done, I have 20GB left on the SSD, and want to keep it that way. I also have two HDD's in raid0 for absolutely everything else, and I will add a folder(s) on them for temp files and what not.

I know when you browse the internet, download stuff, install stuff; it puts files into a temp folder(s).

Could anyone direct me on all and any folders, settings, or whatever else I need to change? I'm not sure if there is more than temp files/folders that pile up...

Thanks a lot.

Check out this tutorial: http://www.techist.com/forums/f127/redirecting-program-files-program-files-x86-vista-win7-245289/

Also check out this other one to optimize your SSD. It includes instructions for setting up your page file and such on a different drive: http://www.techist.com/forums/f128/ssd-tweak-guide-236563/

Thanks for that first link, I was reading through it and noticed it said to make those changes before installing anything. I have installed Windows Updates, and drivers, Adobe Reader, Flash, and Java. On my raid0 drives I've installed vent, firefox, steam, mw3, and wow. Should I really wipe my whole set up and start over again or should I be okay?

Edit: Actually, looking on my Program Files on the C: drive, I'm just going to reformat and do everything the right way.

Thanks for all the links!
