Default Spyware/Adware Probs

I have a serious problem with adware and spyware. If I use a free high anonymity proxy server, will that solve my problems? Is there a free spyware and adware removal program?

ok now this is a problem i'm all to familiar with and the main reason is Internet Explorer..
its not microsofts fault they make buggy software that gets coders working crap that lets it do anything it likes to ya comp oh no wait yeah it is..

i'd suggest switching browers(i use opera)
trying to get rid of all the ad/spyware ya have left on there
Ad-Aware is good

but IE is where ya getting most of that from
+kazaa(use lite if ya gonna use any..)

hope this helps

Yeah i noticed that after I switched from internet explorer to Opera everything stopped. Just run spybot and all that good stuff before you go off to bed and your straight in the morning. No problems with Opera yet. Oh and www.bearshare.com is prolly one of the better programs to use to download stuff.

Spy Sweeper is the best IMO, and Ad-Aware is second

also download Hijackthis and show us the log, we'll tell you what to delete and what to keep
