speeding up boot??

Hi guys,
can anyone plz help? My pc takes quite a long time to boot up!
Ive ran av,spyware and adware apps so im pretty sure im not infected with anything nasty.

Well, what computer is it? Give us some specs please.

Start -> Run -> msconfig [ENTER] ->
under the Services and Startup tab... the more you disable, the faster you'll go...yippy Presuming you have XP...and some stuff you can disable

BootVIS is a good program to increase boot time for Windows XP.

You might also want to try and disable some services which run when Windows is started up.
