speed up process

hello!
i am using an old computer which contain
ram: 256
cpu: intelceleron 2.4
os :Xp sp2
at the beginning, the speed of process is acceptable, but after two months
i feel it is much slower.
so pls do me a help to speed up my computer without changing hardware!

hey there, you might want to clean your computer a little. i recommend you use a program called ccleaner

also try downloading this program

Yeppers, that's what I'd suggest. May as well download the free versions of Spybot and AVG while your at it. Malware may be slowing you down if you're not protected.
