Default spam blocker needed

I am trying to configure my outlook or outlook express to simply trash ANY email from anyone NOT in my address book. This seems to me to be the most basic spam filter anyone could want. I'm sure the method is right under my nose, but I can't find it. I'm running XP Pro with MS Office 2003 on this machine, and throughout my home network I have other systems as well, but all could be upgraded to office 2003 if needed.

This just has to be done; I receive hundreds of strange offers every day on my ISPs pop email. I'm going NUTZ!!!!

Thanks in advance for your help.....

doesn't outlook express have a feature where you can block certain email addresses or send bulk mail into a special folder?

Sure Yash, it does but as far as I know, it only lets me block specific senders or specific words; what I want is to block anybody and everybody who is not a "prefered customer" ie, in my ADRESS BOOK.

There has to be a way......

i highly recommend mailwasher. I've been using it for 2 months now and its cut down on my spam greatly. It's very easy to use.
