SP2 update Causing problems

Hello
I got a problem with my pc somtimes randomly any program may stop responding and gets out of controle you cant close it even by END PROCESS or special process killers ..
It seems that i am the only one with thisd problem but yesterday I used my sp2 update on a laptop after a while the same thing happend to it so can SP2 update be the cause??
to know i downloaded the update just after its release

go to windows update, I think there is a patch just for that.
