SP2 Disaster!!

I have just installed SP2 on my machine. It then asked me to reboot. It first started to go strange on the black startup screen where it says "windows xp professional" along with the loading bar. On my computer it missed out the "professional" word. Once it had finished loading it rebooted itself. I now cannot get into normal windows and am using safe mode to type this. Please help. I just don't know what to do. Thanks

Did you have any virutal drives installed. Try to uninstall sp2 if it will let you.
