SOUND PROblem

I have a 5.1 ch sound card (Genius) with CMI8738/C3DX drivers...everything is allright ..but ...there is a problem..when i try to play some music in other audio players (WINRIP intervideo is the default audio player), only souds 2 speakers, and in others..the quality is very poor......i tried with winamp, musicmatch, and anyone works!!...what happened?!?!..
