Hi,
I have winXP in my laptop.when i tried to install win2000 in my system,unfortunately it had created some problem in winxp.so i have reinstalled xp,everything was working fine but with no sound.I tried to install the sound card driver which is available in my cd is avance ac97.But it is giving me the error as

advance AC97 audio
Did not exist the windows-logo-test that the compatibility with Windows Xp reviews.
This hardware is not installed
"
As my xp version is German ,the above message is transulated english form of german error which i got.
Any solution or suggestions are welcome.
