Question Sound errors?

I got a new HD and swapped my old one with everything on it into my spare rig. Now I get the error message pictured below, while going to play Call Of Duty. And Quake 3 loads up and everything, but has no sound. Ideas?

I reinstalled COD, just to make sure, and it doing the same thing.

Just try to make out if .wav music files from anywhere alse (cd etc.) are able to play or not.
If that is the case then some thing may be wrong with the sound drivers.

One disk to rule them all,
One disk to bind them,
One disk to hold the files
And in the darkness grind \'em.
