We started up the computer fine and began to install windows XP Pro for the first time. We made it to user license agreement and agreed, it didn't do anything so we pressed escape as said and exited it. Now everytime we start it up it just goes to a black screen with a _ that blinks. Any ideas?

Hrm it wants you to insert some sort of command. Are you sure that this is a legit XP cd ? I would try it all over again (re-format, then another install)

Try typing "?" or "/?" when at the balnk screen, see if you can deduct any thing from that.

It is legit, and this is a brand new computer I just built so this is the first time installing it.
