some one celver enough to help me to solve my problem

my problem is when i install some program in my computer an interrupt black screen happen while installation ,(the whole screen become black ,as if i am using MS-DOS ) ,and this screen show for one second and then disapear.



so what i must do to avoid this black screen

A program or all programs? The only thing you see is the black screen, with no error messages then everything is fine?

U didnot mentioned your operating system Assuming windows ,Try Install another copy of windows and test wheather ur system doing the same is so then u have to check ur motherboard to avoid such intrupts , but i will suggest you not to worry if it doesnot harm you .

what are you installing? that's important to know. also, what version? could be a dos app you are installing, also could be setting up connection databases, for example network configured programs. what name appears on the top tool bar of the dos screen?

windows xp pro ,all program i have problem with it(when i install them).

k, I'm assuming you get the 16bit subsystem window. just do the following:`

1.put in the xp cd and go to command prompt. Also, assuming the D:
is your cdrom drive
2.type in the following (enter after EACH line)

expand D:\i386\config.nt_ c:\windows\system32\config.nt
expand D:\i386\autoexec.nt_ c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt
expand D:\i386\command.co_ c:\windows\system32\command.com
exit
