Default Some Freeware Please

Hi

I have OpenOffice.Org installed.

I have installed this: http://axcrypt.axantum.com/etc/Passwords.xls but it only allows me to view as I do not have MS products on my computer, it will not allow me to save or amend.

I do not want to purchase MS Excel, as I do not have the full need for it.

Can anyone recommend a free Excel programme?

It does not give me the option to save, if I click on file, save or Save As does not appear.

If I click on the RED X top right corner, it just closes, again does not give e the option to save it.

I believe it's because it's a .xl file, & I don't have windows .XL programme stored within my computer.

This is why I'm looking for some software

What OS do you run? So you're saying that you can't go to File > Save as... in Openoffice.org? I doubt that. If Openoffice.org can open it, and you can read the file just fine, you should be able to save it as something else and edit away. Perhaps the permissions on the file itself are screwed up? If all else fails you'll have to find some sort of virtualization work around, for example - run MS Office with WINE.
