Software to search Hardware

Is there a software that can scan my hardware? I had to reinstall my OS so I lost all my drivers and stuff.
I also do not remember my specs. (Friend built my computer)

So yea, is there software that will tell me the make/build of my Motherboard and interiors?

CPU-z will give you most of the basics, but I would also ask your friend who built it to see if he can recall what mobo he put in there.

If you hit the pause key after powering on you should be able to write down the make and model number of your motherboard.
