software to copy dvds

Don't have Nero, will Shrink integrate to another program....say like Alcohol 120 or Roxio (free versions)? I'm using DVD X and would like to have an alternative. Like what you said the 321 warning isn't a pretty sight and I can't get updates.

i do not know if it can use anything besides NERO. if not, what you do is backup to a hard disk folder instead. use your DVD burning program and put those backed up files into the DVD. after making the DVD test it on your home DVD player or whatever. if it works OK than you can delete the folder the movie was backed up to.
