Default software to analyse hardware componetns

so pretty much the case is, my boss bought a brand new computer and gave it to someone to i guess install some programs he needed and other things.. he thinks that that someone might have switched his parts for something else... he has the complete list of the original computer hardware as he bought it.. now he wants me to check his computer for any changes, i havent seen the computer yet..

so does anyone know a freeware software that could help me out with listing all the hardware stuff. thx

CPU-Z will list some of the harder to identify parts: motherboard, processor, memory.
