i just tried to fire up my pc and put the vista install disc in and it first says somethin about express gate not valid.
then cannot boot please bla bla somethign else.
and hardisc data cant be found.
im about to throw my new 1000 dollar pc out of the window..
i burned a copy of vista from a torrent.casue i have a legit cd key.i just burned the iso onto a dvd-r in nero.

If you spent 1G on the computer then maybe you should have considered spending 120 on a real copy of vista..

HAve you got the boot order correct? Have you got all the connections correct?

Also do not trust the Vista DVD's from torrent sites. Almost all of them are hacked in some way and that causes more grief than anything. Get a better disc.

Moved to Windows. Not every issue is hardware related. Please try to post in the right area. Booting issue cause of a disc error is not hardware.
