sndvol32.exe not found?!

I have Windows Vista Home Premium(64-bit) and Im trying to record a song(Analog way) using Cool Edit Pro 2
I play the song using iTunes and then I try recording it using CEP2 but when I hit "record" it records nothing =[
so then I when on CEP2 to see if I could fix the problem in "options", so I click Options>Windows Recording Mixer the moment I click Windows Recording Mixer an error window pop up and says cannot find mixer program "sndvol32".

Is there a way to fix this?

That is the sound volume control for 32 Bit systems. Since you are using 64 Bit there wont be a way to solve this. Not unless you dual boot with a 32 Bit OS.

guess i could try it on my old computer or something, i think its a 32... thanks mak for your help
