Slow typing response in MS Word(XP).

I run W2K SP4 with MS Office XP Pro SP 2, for some reason when I type in Word especially when using it as my e-mail editor I get a slow response. Sometimes the cursor "backlogs" which is fine I suppose but on some occasions the cursor will stop and when it catches up again it disregards whatever I typed between the point where it stopped and started again. This is extremely frustrating !! I've reloaded SP4, still no joy. Any advise ?

I run w2k with office xp (no sp2) no problems

This could be caused from a number of reasons.

1. The font set you are trying to use is large.

2. Not enough RAM.

3. Overworked processor.
