Default Slow boot at times

Not a huge problem but it can get annoying, ever since i built my pc,every once in a while, from a cold boot it takes forever to startup staying on that XP splash screen with the loading bar for even up to a few minutes.
Any ideas what could be causing this.
Im running an x2 3800 (stable oc 2.5) dfi lan street MB and 2 gigs of g skill extreme.
