Unhappy A Simple Problem which u can solve

I have a small problem worrying from days.

In my Sir system Windows 2000 OS is installed and everything is going on well till the opening of the window and the actual problem is neither mouse nor keyboard except Ctrl+Alt+Del keys are working to shutdown the system. Mouse is moving as usual but its not showing the tips and not blocking on clicking an item. Plz help me i am ashame of being not able to solve the problem.

Spyware...... You need software to get it out. Try Ad-aware SE. It would also help if you gave some system specs... (So we may know all yow business...)
