All I'm trying to do is make the icon fonts (on my desktop) transparent so the background color does not show through the wallpaper. In other words , if the background color is purple, no matter what my wallpaper is I have purple behind the Icon fonts. Anyone know how to make it go away?
PS - if I have "Lock web items on desktop" selected in desktop properties on my XP Professional, it shows through. But not when its de-selected. On the laptop I have XP Home edition and that has no effect either way. The background color still shows through the wallpaper. Thanks in advance for any help, and if you stop by Mansfield Ohio I'll buy you a beer.
