Simple Folder Question - Windows XP Pro SP3

Somehow my mom's computer got switched around so now what used to be her quick launch links to open folders turned into a side scrolling game. Instead of clicking "My Music" and it opening, it expands to the side, then she selects the band, expands to side, album, expands to side, etc.

I know this is a real easy fix but I'm having difficulty finding it. Here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing:

rt mouse click the taskbar select properties.

go to start menu tab.
customize or advanced can not remember.

look for an option to expand certain items and remove the bullet.

You the man, Hefe. Right click start button, properties, customize button, advanced tab. My problem was I was looking for one option. I had to set the option accordingly for each setting - my computer, my documents, my music, my pictures, etc. Had to change them to launch as a link, not a menu.

Do not have a xp vm at my disposal (my win7 install does ) or I could have done better.

Had to run that one by braille.
