Default Sick of vista should i go back?

Let me first say that ive never had xp on this machine so i have nothing to compare to but my old pc but still im sick and tired of vista's errors etc, you guys see my specs what do you think? would i get a performance boost from xp pro or should i stick with vista home prem? i have both cd's

you have the optimum level of ram a good gfx card and cpu. I don't see any reason why vista would struggle I take it you have installed all the latest updates and went with the 64bit version to use all 4gb of your ram? I would stick with it possibly dual boot with a linux version if your really sick of vista

yeah unfortunately i dont have the $ to upgrade to 64 bit but im just sick of dealing with issues with bf 2142 and other games i love to play.

well without 64bit your not using all your ram and I have heard with Vista and BF all errors are stopped once using 4gb of ram and the 64bit version

2 gb vs 4gb = Vista - HEXUS.community discussion forums
