I am running on Vista 32 bit, 320 gb hdd
I open up computer manager and go to the virtual disk to shrink my main partition, but even though I have 150gb of free space, it says that 0gb is available for shrinking. What is wrong?

There's probably unmovable data toward the end of the partition. The utility you are using doesn't move data on the fly. Try using a defrag program that consolidates free space and try again. Or use a better partitioning tool.

I tried defraging using a plethera of defraggers, cleaned up excess files, deleted system restore points, done everything to give me space to shrink the drive. In the end, I still could not shrink the drive. Any help?
