Should I format my hard drive ?

Will formatting have any benefit? I installed vista as an upgrade and it seems a little buggy.

If you have a full version, I would say go for it. I have found that very often the upgrade simply doesn't cut it.

definitely.. a clean install usually is better in Vista than an Upgrade..

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the update just looked at the hard drive, said "Ah yes, I see you do have windows on there already" and then installs a fresh copy of vista anyway.
