Default Shorcut not working? Tried sys restore

I have a program that won't open after the computer has been on for a day or so. I have to restart the comp before it will work again. No matter how I try to start it, it won't come up. I tried sys restore but it's a relatively new comp and the restor only went back a week. Ran a virus scan on it also. What can I do now?

Thanks,
Andy

It's a signature capture program that works with http://www.integrisign.com/index.php?id=NDMz. The signature catpure program is an Intuit Eclipse program that is part of our Distribution software.

what operating system are you using?
what are the computers system specs?

So you have these E-pads hooked up to the comp all day? if so what connectors does it use? USB?

have you tried other USB ports?

if all the comps are the same without installing any other software then it must be hardware related.

check all usb ports could also try updating the drivers for that motherboard.

also look in the event viewer for any problems go to start>run and type eventvwr. Check applications for any conflicts and system.

also look in device manager for anything suspicious mainly looking for yellow ! marks. Hold the windows key and press pause break then go to hardware then device manager.
