Send a message via Yahoo to ADZ

Are your computers all connected through a Hub or Router?

I heard about them many time but I don't know what exactly a hub and router are . I only know that they are something which are used to connect computers. Can you explain for me?

I'm sure that I haven't got any hubs or routers. So can I find other ways to connect computers (for example through USB ...)
