I'm trying to set up a web server on my PC I'm have the choice of Web Server, Data Center, Small Business Edition, and Enterprise edition. Here is the machine that it is going on:

Mobo: MSI K8n Neo 4 Platinum
AMD 3200 64bit
2GB PC3200 ram (4) 512 sticks
WD Raptor 74Gb Sata
ATI 9200 Radeon
Dual 1gbps NICS

I know this isn't really a server board but it is the best that I have now.

If anyone has any tips on setting up a your own webserver, I'l love some tips.

data center requires a TON more resources than any other version of server, at least it did with 2000 im not sure about the requirements for 2003. Anyway, this isn't probably isn't going to be a HUGE business/corporate fileserver, just a webserver, which is why he should probably go with web edition.

I've told you before go with data center.

You're joking, right.....? I mean, seriously?

Datacenter is available only through OEMs and frequently includes tons of customizations. You would never want to run it on a computer built on hardware that you've ever heard of. That is for esoteric mainframe-like type setups.
