Default Setting Monitors Auto shut off problem

I try to set it to automatic shut off on. Properties/ Screensaver/ Power, but this does not work. My monitor stays on, is this maybe because of my wireless desktop?

Go into the control panel, click on Power Options.

Set the monitor, computer, and hard disks to turn off whenever you want them to.
