Hi Guys I was just wondering if there was anyway (once downloaded) you could save windows service pack 1 or other windows updates on to a cd.Instead of downloading them again if your pc goes down.

no don't order a CD, thats a waste of time and money. what you want is called the distributable network version of sp1a. download here:

bingooo ek got it right on the money you want the network version...its 100MB + hope you dont have dial up ;-)

Yeah, the network destributable version really helps out.


I don't think anybody in there right mind (unlesse using dialup) would buy that cd. Shipping, money, etc... etc... etc...
